A property valuation is an assessment of the worth or market value of a property conducted by a suitably qualified valuer. It provides a value of how much a property is worth in the current market conditions.
Property valuations are typically required for various purposes such as buying or selling a property, refinancing a mortgage, obtaining insurance coverage, settling estates, or for legal and taxation purposes.
Property valuations are carried out by Certified Practicing Valuers, who are members of the Australian Property Institute.
The cost of a property valuation can vary depending on factors such as the type and location of the property, its size and complexity, and the scope of the valuation required. Please contact our office for a quote.
Once the fee has been accepted and the job has been booked in, we will be in contact to arrange the inspection. For a typical residential job, the inspection takes around half an hour. The valuer will measure rooms, take photos and notes.
A valuation is valid for 90 days from the date of valuation.
We are only able to provide a copy of the report to the instructing party.
